Our
Vision
hawkwing promotes a vision of
the world in which Mitakuye Oyasin - We Are All Related. In the Native
American manner, we acknowledge the importance of everything on the Earth
Plane: two-leggeds; four leggeds; winged; finned; creepy-crawlers; the
stone, fire, water and green people; and the thunder, star and cloud people.
hawkwing seeks to create a reality where we understand, honor, appreciate and
respect one another across races, genders, ages, species, boundaries and
beliefs.
hawkwing strives to engage
children and adults in honoring and healing Mother Earth who provides us
with our very existence.
"...The Power of the World always works in
circles...The sky is round and I have heard that the Earth is round like a
ball, and so are the stars. The wind in its greatest power, whirls.
Birds make their nests in circles... Even the seasons form a great circle in
their changing and always coming back again it where they were.. Life is a
circle from childhood to childhood, so is everything else where power
moves." ~Black Elk
